Hampton Roads Gun Violence Dashboard

A neighborhood-level dashboard of gun-violence incidents across Hampton Roads.

The dashboard aggregates incident data from multiple sources to show how gun violence plays out across Hampton Roads: where incidents concentrate, how patterns move over time, and which neighborhoods carry the heaviest burden.

It was built as a shared evidence base for researchers, public-health analysts, community-safety organizations, policymakers, and journalists working on prevention, so that conversations about gun violence in the region can start from the same neighborhood-level picture.

The dashboard is no longer on the open web. This data describes real people and real neighborhoods, and we restrict access to keep it from being used against the communities it describes. Access remains free by request for academic research, public-health analysis, community safety, and journalism.
